A big thank-you to Turiya Coltrane and Mark Lager for inviting Jonathan and Marion to visit and soak in the rich musical and spiritual history of The John and Alice Coltrane Home.

The two-story house in Dix Hills, NY, was home to John and Alice Coltrane, and their young family, from 1964 to 1973. They both wrote and recorded some of their most enduring works there.

The house is presently being fully restored to serve as a space for immersion in history, education, creativity, and more.

It was a very inspiring visit, especially after attending Cosmic Music: The Celestial Songs of Alice Coltrane, at Carnegie Hall, the previous night.
